My package had been stuck for a few days, so I reached out to UPS through their website. I wasn’t expecting much, but I got an update faster than I thought and the package showed up the very next day. Overall, it was a smooth experience and I’m happy with how they handled it.
"Good Service, If You Don’t Mind the Surprise Prices"
UPS usually gets my packages where they need to go, so I’ll give them that. The website is simple enough to use, which is nice because apparently the real adventure starts when you see the shipping cost. Sometimes the price jumps way more than I expected, especially with bigger boxes or faster delivery options. It works fine, but for what they charge sometimes, I can’t say it always feels worth it.

I like that UPS shows the price before I finish making the label. No guessing. The fees and delivery options are clear too. So checkout doesn’t feel like a surprise. Not always the cheapest. But at least I know what I’m paying for.

I used ups.com to check on a delivery, i was kind of expecting the usual confusion since my trust in delivery updates has been worn down a bit lately. But the proof of delivery was actually correct this time — the time and location matched exactly. It saved me from sitting there wondering if the package had really been dropped off or not. Simple thing, but it worked the way it was supposed to.

"Quick and easy, which is what I need"
I mostly use the ups app to track my packages, and it works well. The updates show up fast, which I appreciate because I don’t have the patience to dig around trying to figure out where my delivery is. I also made a shipping label from my phone and it was simple enough. Nothing flashy, just easy to use and gets the job done.

I made this return more stressful than it needed to be because I waited until the last minute, but the staff was super nice and helped me get it shipped out fast. No hassle, no attitude, just quick help when I needed it

UPS handled my customs clearance okay, but I was a bit disappointed that I had to upload the invoice again. Once I did that, things moved quickly, so at least it didn’t drag on. Not a perfect experience, but still better than I expected

I got my refund in the end. I don’t remember exactly how many days it took, but it was a few days or so. Nothing too dramatic, just glad it got sorted.

"Pretty reliable for tracking packages"
I mostly use ups.com to keep an eye on my packages, and overall it’s been a smooth experience. The tracking updates are usually reliable, and I like getting texts or emails when a package moves or if the delivery changes. There was one time the update came through a little late, but most of the time it works fine. Not perfect, but good overall

UPS said my package would arrive between 2 and 5, and it actually showed up around 3. i was happy with that — for once, I didn’t have to spend the whole day guessing when they’d show up

"Nice staff, but the packing wasn’t worth the price"
I used UPS to pack and ship a fragile item, and unfortunately it still arrived damaged. The staff was nice enough when I went in, and I was actually on my lunch break trying to get it mailed out before the weekend, so I appreciated that part. But when the box got to its destination, it was clear there just wasn’t much padding inside. For what I paid, I expected the item to be packed a lot more securely.

I accidentally put the wrong apartment number on my ups delivery, and I had that gut feeling it was going to turn into a whole mess. I went on ups and tried the address change option, it was straightforward. I got an update not long after, and the package showed up at the right place the next day. Nothing fancy to say here, it just worked, and I was relieved.

I use ups every now and then for shipping labels, and for the most part it’s been smooth. Payments usually go through without any drama, and the prices at checkout are generally what I expect. One time, though, I noticed a charge after buying a label that was a little different from what I thought it would be. It wasn’t some huge amount, but it was enough to make me go back and double-check everything. Weirdly, I remember I was eating a slightly burnt bagel while trying to figure it out, which probably made me more annoyed than I needed to be. Customer support did explain what happened, but it took a bit. Overall, it works fine, just don’t assume every bill is going to be 100% perfect without checking.

"Works Fine… When It Feels Like It"
ups tracking is usually decent, which I guess is the nicest thing I can say about it. Most of the time it gives me enough info to know where my package is, but then it’ll say 'out for delivery' and nothing shows up until the next day. The updates can be slow too, especially when you’re stuck waiting around. It’s not awful, just not exactly something I’d call reliable.

I had to send back a jacket that didn’t fit quite right, and the whole thing was painless. The ups return label scanned fine, I dropped it off at the spot near my office during lunch, got my receipt, and was out in like two minutes. I was still holding my half-finished iced coffee the whole time. No hassle, no weird issues, just a really easy return process.

"UPS Shipping Is Fine, But Account Management Is a Pain"
I use ups.com regularly for my small business shipping, and the actual shipping part is usually fine. But managing my account online is SO frustrating. Updating billing info or changing addresses takes way more clicks than it should, and half the time it feels like the changes don’t even save. I ended up having to contact support for something that should’ve been quick and simple. UPS really needs to fix the account management side of things.

I ended up waiting longer than I expected, which was a little frustrating. What annoyed me most was that the communication wasn’t very clear, so I wasn’t sure what was going on or how long it would take. That said, once someone finally helped me, they were able to sort things out.
